The Board of Catholic Education of the Diocese of Springfield in Illinois advises the bishop and director of catechesis concerning the administration and supervision of all catechetical programming in the diocese. The Board is made up of representatives from the seven deaneries and includes pastors, religious men and women, and lay representatives.
