October Count

Every October, parishes across the diocese obtain a head count at all Sunday masses in order to determine how many parishioners attend weekend masses.

Highlights of the 2011 October Mass Count

The 2012 October Mass Count indicates that 57,193 people attended parish Masses on Saturday evening and Sunday on four weekends in October 2012 - October 6-7, 13-14, 20-21, and 27-28.

This is a decrease of 1,682 people (–2.86%) from October 2012. This is a decrease of 27,215 people (-32.24%) since 1996.
