Deaf Ministry

Ministry with the Deaf Community:

  • Education and awareness of the needs and concerns of the Deaf Community
  • Opportunities for Eucharistic Liturgy and reception of the Sacraments in American Sign Language
  • Promote and provide education of American Sign Language among interested clergy and others
  • Opportunities for spiritual formation, retreats, and family days by offering an annual retreat day for adults and a Deaf TEC for youth
  • Opportunities for catechist training in religious education for deaf youth and adults
  • Sacramental preparation
  • Pastoral visiting
