Election & Call

Diocesan Rites of Election and Call to Continuing Conversion are celebrated at the beginning of Lent each year in the Cathedral Church of the Immaculate Conception. These diocesan rites are on the usual first weekend of Lent. The rite on Saturday, 4 March, 2017 at 7:00 pm is for nearby parishes within 50 miles of the cathedral church. Sunday, 5 March, 2017 at 2:30 pm is for parishes beyond the 50 miles range. Preparation materials were mailed at the end of December 2016 to the parish Catechumenate/RCIA Coordinator of record.
