On communal penance liturgy in lent 2008

Bishop Lucas issued a Pastoral Letter on Reconciliation, “We Implore You in Christ, Be Reconciled to God,” at the First Sunday of Lent 2008. The following items were prepared in the first days of Lent by the Office for Worship and the Catechumenate. They are offered to help priests and parish ministers prepare for a Communal Penance Liturgy in keeping with themes of the pastoral letter and faithful to the norms of the Rite of Penance, Chapter II.

This Mid-February 2008 mailing is sent electronically to the Monthly Mailing list. Paper copies will also be mailed to priests in the diocese.
