Priests and Parish Life Coordinators (PLC)

Convocation, 23 September 2010

The final day of the annual convocation was the third clergy event devoted to Roman Missal work. The Parish Life Coordinators and major seminarians also participated. The presenters were Father Joe Ring, vicar for clergy, and Eliot Kapitan. All of the participant materials developed by the diocese, including the team manual, are included here. Parishes and institutions may reprint and use any or all of them for local use.

Parish Guide to Implementing the Roman Missal, Third Edition

This book, prepared by the Committee on Divine Worship, United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, is the national plan on the missal. It was mailed in early December 2010 to priests and parish life coordinators involved in parish ministry as well as to hospital and high school chaplains and to liturgy contacts in major religious houses.

  • The diocese included a CD of USCCB and local documents from the book and from both web sites to make local use easier.

Roman Missal Study Days, 22-23 February 2011

This day-and-a-half gathering for priests and parish life coordinators, sponsored by the Office of the Vicar for Clergy, was devoted to extensive Roman Missal work. The main presenter was Father Paul Turner, priest of the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph (MO). Eliot Kapitan reviewed available resources for local use.
