Kyle comes to Springfield after serving for 8 years as a parish youth minister in Belleville, Illinois.  Prior to parish work, Kyle worked as a program director for several Christian summer residential camps including DuBois Center in Washington County Illinois, Catholic Youth Camp in McGregor, Minnesota, and program staff for many years at Camp Ondessonk in Ozark, Illinois.

His ministry experience also includes over 20 years with the TEC retreat program in the Diocese of Belleville, Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis, and the Diocese of Springfield in Illinois.  In addition to TEC, Kyle has helped with REC, Quest, and Koinonia retreats, served as a staff member for the Youth Sing Praise program at the Shrine in Belleville, and serves as a program adjunct for the Center for Ministry Development.

Kyle's ministry formation vitae includes completion of the Certificate in Youth Ministry Studies program from the Center for Ministry Development, the New Diocesan Director's Institute from the National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry, Advanced Catechist Certification from the Office for Education for the Diocese of Belleville, and Degreed Level certification in the Ministry of Catechesis for the Diocese of Springfield in Illinois.  Kyle has a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and a Master of Pastoral Studies degree from the Loyola Institute for Ministry, Loyola University, New Orleans.

Activities include the Knights of Columbus, Boy Scouts of America, the choir for Young Adult Mass, and volunteering at St. Agnes school.  Kyle and his wife, Trish,  live in Springfield and have three kids: Kaden, Lilly and Rachel.
