Job Title: Pantry Manager
Location: Catholic Charities Area Office, Springfield

Job Description

Catholic Charities is currently seeking qualified applicants for the Pantry Manager of the Springfield area office. The Pantry Manager will operate and maintain the food pantry, provide crisis assistance with grocery items to those in need. Keep supplies on hand, prepare orders, keep records, distribute food, recruit and oversee volunteers. Weekend/evening/holiday work and travel as required.

Job Qualifications

Qualified applicants should have at minimum

  1. High school/general education diploma.
  2. Ability to accept instructions and apply them in a logical and responsible manner and make productive use of time.
  3. Sensitivity and respect for populations of individuals who may be considered marginalized regarding their socio-economic, emotional, physical and spiritual backgrounds and the ability to work within a team concept and witting the philosophy of the Catholic Charities mission.
  4. Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
