Job Description

The Diocese of Springfield in Illinois is currently seeking a qualified candidates for the position of Tribunal Coordinator in the Office for Tribunal Services. The Tribunal Coordinator for the Office for Tribunal Services coordinates processes related to petitions for declarations of marital nullity and other judicial cases that come before the Tribunal. The Tribunal Coordinator has the responsibility of seeing that the acts of the Tribunal are properly handled along with supervising the day to day operations of the Tribunal. The Tribunal Coordinator also supports the Judicial Vicar, all judges, and defenders of the bond.

Job Qualifications

Candidates for the position are required to be practicing Catholics in full communion with the teachings of the Church. The position requires excellent oral and written communication skills with attention to accuracy and detail, strong administrative skills, excellent interpersonal skills, ability to hold a high degree of confidentiality and capable to work with minimal supervision. High school diploma plus 3-5 years executive administrative experience required. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
